ACL Reconstruction
I am currently a high school soccer athlete at John Carroll Catholic High School. I unfortunately tore my ACL. I reached out to see Dr. Momaya, who has taken care of numerous high level female athletes in the state with incredible results. He discussed my options for graft type and adding a lateral extra-articular iliotibial band tenodesis (LET) to help reduce my re-tear rate. I felt comfortable with Dr. Momaya given his experience and research on the exact injury I had. I had a great recovery and am so grateful to have been taken care of by Dr. Momaya. I am also thankful for the athletic trainers, Ashley and Billy, who helped me during my recovery.
