Patellar Tendon Repair
I unfortunately missed a step and completely tore my patellar tendon. I was seen by Dr. Momaya. He immediately diagnosed me with a patellar tendon tear and discussed surgery to fix my tendon. Furthermore, as a professional singer, I had some hesitation with the intubation part of surgery from anesthesia. He was kind enough to discuss this issue with the anesthesia team to make sure my vocal cords were protected as best as possible.
The surgery was a success. I am thankful Dr. Momaya was my surgeon. I am back to hiking in the woods and feeling like myself again. Thank you for saving my knee!
