ACL Reconstruction Surgery
Iverson is a wide receiver on the football team at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He unfortunately sustained an ACL tear along with a bucket handle meniscus tear and cartilage injury in his knee, leading to a season ending injury. He underwent successful revision ACL reconstruction with quadriceps tendon autograft, meniscal repair, and cartilage restoration by Dr. Momaya, head orthopedic surgeon for UAB Athletics. He has made an incredible comeback to collegiate football and recently scored a touchdown.
