Shoulder Labral Repair
I had dislocated my shoulder playing basketball while playing at Middle Tennessee State University. I attended Hewitt-Trussville as a high school basketball player, and thus decided to return to Birmingham to seek orthopedic sports medicine care. Dr. Momaya was highly recommended by multiple athletes and coaches. He got me in right away and diagnosed me with a labral tear. Surgery was a success. He outlined a specific physical therapy protocol for me to follow. I transferred to UAB to further my basketball career.
